Cottenham Cricket Club – All Stars for 5-8 years old starts 26 May
We will be running an ECB All Stars programme for 5-8 year old boys and girls. This will be on Thursday evenings, 5.00-6.00pm on the recreation ground starting on May 26th and continuing for eight weeks until July 14th.
For older children (8-11 years, boys and girls), there is an ECB Dynamos programme which we’ll be running on Wednesday evenings, 5.00-6.00pm, again on the rec. and starting on May 25th until July 13th.
The All Stars coaching provides a really fun introduction to cricket to get our youngsters enthused about the game and develop some basic skills whilst Dynamos takes this a step further, participants developing new cricketing skills including batting, bowling and fielding and having the chance to play a fast-paced and exciting game of countdown cricket – a new format that mirrors The Hundred. It’s designed for children graduating from the All Stars Cricket programme but is also perfect for those who are new to the game.
