Cottenham Cricket Club – Programmes for ages 5-11

We will be running an ECB All Stars programme for ages 5–8 boys and girls. This will be on Thursday evenings, 5–6pm on the recreation ground starting on May 26 and continuing for eight weeks until July 14.

For older children (boys and girls, ages 8–11), there is an ECB Dynamos programme which we’ll be running on Wednesday evenings, 5–6pm, again on the recreation ground and starting on May 25 until July 13.

The All Stars coaching provides a really fun introduction to cricket. We hope to get our youngsters enthused about the game and that they develop some basic skills.

Dynamos takes this a step further; participants develop new cricketing skills including batting, bowling and fielding and have the chance to play a fast-paced and exciting game of countdown cricket – a new format that mirrors The Hundred. It’s designed for children graduating from the All Stars Cricket programme but is also perfect for those who are new to the game.
