Custard Comedy at Willingham Social Club | 6 October 2017
Custard Comedy is back at Willingham Social Club, featuring the extreme silliness of Raymond and Mr Timpkins for the Willingham Feast show on Friday 6 October 2017
The Raymond and Mr Timpkins Revue is freakish entertainment on a twisted stick, incorporating inimitable acoustic guitar / stylophone driven rock anthems coupled with a plethora of prop-assisted material that’s busier than a wasp in a fat child’s lunchbox.
Their highly original performance approach has made them regulars in comedy clubs around the country, including appearances at the Edinburgh, Glastonbury, Phoenix and Reading festivals. “Enough silliness to fill a pillow.” Evening Standard.
John Mann is a comedian described by Jonny Vaughan as a ‘complete genius with brilliant observations’.
Those acts are supported by Harriet Kemsley who has talked on a stage all over the world – at places like The Sky Cat Laughs Comedy Festival in Kilkenny, Oslo Comedy Festival and Just for Laughs in Montreal. She has also supported some of her heroes on their nationwide tours, like Katherine Ryan, Stephen Merchant and Isy Suttie. ‘A quirky very funny new stand up’ TIME OUT.
Our MC is Jonathan Elston. At just 24 years of age, Jonathan is a fresh, punchy, gag-driven comic who combines sharp joke writing and quirky observations with a youthful likeability that charms his audience and endears him to any room.“A young comic with incredible talent and natural warmth” The Guardian.
