The Stone Flower – Fen Edge Dance annual ballet Saturday 12 May
Fen Edge Dance will perform The Stone Flower as their annual ballet performance on Saturday 12th May at Swavesey Village College at 3.15pm and 7.30pm.
The Stone Flower is the last ballet Prokofiev wrote based on a Russian Folk Tale. The older dancers have been working hard at rehearsals for this, so come along and see the results! Students from the Cottenham classes are part of this as well as young dancers from Girton, Histon and Over. Tickets £9 or £30 for a family ticket (4 people) from tutusrus@ntlworld.com
The summer term also sees SCAMBS, our 2 contemporary groups, in action at Swavesey Festival at the start of July.
We welcome new students at any time in our ballet and contemporary classes – quality dance teaching on your doorstep!
We like to keep numbers low to give us the chance to really work with the dancers and bring out the best in them; ballet is a skill that needs careful nurturing and every dancer is different! If you have any questions about the classes please contact April Martin (Assoc ARBTA) tutusrus@ntlworld.com
