RIDE TO WORK
This year’s Bike Week theme is Ride to Work which proved so popular last year. Nearly 800,000 people cycle to work in the UK every day and, with your help, we’re aiming to swell that number by half-a-million in 2016.
Many people are motivated to start cycling during Bike Week thanks to all the fun and social events – let’s keep this going for 2016! For those who commute to work already, we are hosting the Bike Week Pledge and the ‘Bike Week Challenge’ where riders will be able to log their cycling miles, challenge friends and colleagues, and win prizes by cycle commuting. We’ve also teamed up with a number of partners, including the NSPCC, where we hope we can make a massive difference to vulnerable children and young people.
