The Association, under the terms of its Constitution, works to benefit the community by supporting clubs and groups which improve the social, recreational and leisure facilities in the area of the Fen Edge Patch (Cottenham, Rampton, Landbeach, Waterbeach and Willingham). Membership of the Fen Edge Community Association (FECA) is open to individuals or clubs, groups and societies. By their membership fees or by taking part in and assisting with various events organised by the Association, funds are generated for grants and projects. Grants are intended for ‘start up’ purposes or for assistance on a one-off basis.
Members applying for a grant should write to the Chairman, Fen Edge Community Association, Community Office, Cottenham Village College, Cottenham CB24 8UA or email@example.com. The use of the grant must be defined in the application so that the Finance & General Purposes Committee can decide if it is within the objectives of the Association’s Constitution. In considering grant applications, the committee is dependent on funds available to it at the time.
The membership year runs from 1 April – 31 March.
INDIVIDUAL: For individuals who wish to support the Association and participate actively on their own account – Fee: £2
