Steady Rollin’ Blues Tour: Brooks Williams & Hans Theessink

Rampton Village Hall presents Steady Rollin’ Blues Tour: Brooks Williams & Hans Theessink on Thursday 10th May 2018 at 7.30pm, Doors Open at 7pm. Cash bar available all evening.

Brooks Williams needs no introduction to his loyal following in the area as this is, after all, a home gig. He is touring this year with Dutch blues singer and guitarist Hans Theessink who has been performing since the early 1970s. Hans’ style brings together country, blues, fingerpicking and influences such as Big Bill Broonzy, Leadbelly and Brownie McGhee. He is described as ‘one helluva guitar player’ by the legendary Bo Diddley.

Brooks is ranked as one of the Top 100 Acoustic Guitarists and writes and delivers his songs with an easy-going vocal style. Walking the line between blues and Americana. He has worked stages worldwide for over 25 years, amassing a staggering back-catalogue of songs, recordings and tales. See www.brookswilliams.com for more information.

The evening will be a feast of blues guitar, groove-laden songs and cheery banter.  A must for anyone who appreciates acoustic guitar playing at its best.

Advance tickets: £10.  £12 on the door. Book now at  www.ramptonvillagehall.co.uk or call 01954 208045
