The Cottenham Fun Run is Back! Saturday 10 May 2025
It is with great pleasure that we can announce that the Cottenham Fun Run is back in 2025 on Saturday 10 May after a break in 2024.
The ROCStars (Runners of Cottenham) local running club have kindly agreed to take over the organisation of and hosting of the Fun Run with the intention of making the Run bigger and better than ever before. Cottenham Colts are the event sponsor.
The route is as it was for the last Fun Run in 2023 which saw a successful new start point at the Recreation Ground on Lambs Lane and a brand new course over 7K that is mainly off-road.
The Fun Run will raise valuable funds for the community as proceeds, after costs, will be donated to the fund for installing a new 3G pitch at Cottenham Village College
Race Registration will take place between 8:30 am and 9:30 am at Cottenham Recreation Ground. The 7K Fun Run will start at 10 am. The Race Entry Fee is £7.
There will also be a 2k Junior Fun Run around the Recreation Ground that starts at 9:30 am – Entry costs £2. All Junior competitors must be accompanied by an adult and each receives a medal at the finishing line.
