Waterbeach Feast Saturday 9th June 2018

Waterbeach Community Association are once again organising the Waterbeach Feast on Saturday 9th June.

This annual event starts with a grand parade of floats around the village, mostly entered by local groups and organisations. The afternoon entertainment then continues with a variety of stalls and side shows on the Village Green and some exciting events and displays in the arena. Feast Day is always a wonderful village event with everyone turning out to make it enjoyable for both villagers and visitors.

Waterbeach Feast 2018The theme is “Something beginning with L …

Once again it’s time to put on those thinking caps and come up with ideas to decorate your stalls and float for Feast Day. This year’s theme will be ‘Something beginning with L …….’ The parade will leave the school as usual at 2pm and make its procession around the village. We’re hoping to see many floats, walking groups and individuals to make a spectacular and colourful parade.

Feast Parade

The parade is FREE to enter – there are four categories: Infant, Junior, Adult and Friends & Family – and it is open to groups, clubs, families and individuals. Just dress up and join in the fun. You can find all the forms needed to join in the activities on the Waterbeach Feast website

To ensure the success of the Feast Day we need your help. We need assistance in the organisation of the day and to help set up in the morning and clear away at the end of day. We also need people to volunteer to be marshals and walk alongside the parade as it makes its procession around the village. If you would like to help please contact Jacqui Rabbett on 01223 860993
