Cottenham Fun Run 2018 – Saturday 5 May

The popular Cottenham Fun Run is here again on Saturday 5th May 2018 with all proceeds going to the Cambridgeshire branch of the Motor Neurone Disease Association. Once again we are indebted to Malary Ltd waste recycling solutions for their ever generous support and sponsorship and would also like to thank Cottenham Parish Council for their kind donation of £250.

This annual event, organised by Martyn Leeks on behalf of the Fen Edge Community Association, has both a senior and junior run. Registration for both races starts on the day at Cottenham Village College from 9am or register online here.

Age categories and cost of entry are: Primary girl and boy (£3); Village College girl and boy (£4); Adult male and female (£6); Veterans (50+) male and female (£6).

The Junior Run starts at 10am and takes place around Cottenham Village College playing fields, a distance of about a mile. All Junior Run competitors must be accompanied by an adult.

The 7k race starts at 10.45am, from the playing fields, and takes a well-marshalled route through and around Cottenham village. Full details on @CottenhamFunRun and Facebook Cottenham 7K Run.

If you would like to volunteer as a race marshal please contact funrun@fenedge.co.uk

For those who are watching and waiting, there will be a Morning Market on site with over 20 stalls.

All proceeds, after costs, will be donated to the Cambridgeshire branch of the Motor Neurone Disease Association
