FENTASTIC FEFF

The long weekend – 19, 20 and 21 June – was a great success for all involved. At Cottenham Green, at CVC and the Cottenham Community Centre activities and entertainments involved young and old, of all ages. The weather did not always behave on the Saturday but the Sunday – midsummer’s day – was at its glorious best. The FEFF is sponsored by the Fen Edge Community Association every two years to bring together member groups and organisations which contribute to the quality of life in the five Fen Edge villages – Cottenham, Rampton, Willingham, Landbeach and Waterbeach. The latest issue of the Fen Edge News has now been distributed to all the villages and carries comprehensive information about the wide range of adult and family classes starting in the autumn. You might like to note some FREE tasters: Monday 14th September: adult tap dancing at 7pm, adult ballet at 7.30pm; Tuesday 15th September t’ai chi (beginners), French for beginners and revive your Spanish, all at 7pm; Wednesday 16th: introduction to carpentry, Art Mixed Media and Silversmithing demonstration, all at 7pm.
