The newts that live in the Tenison Manor moat in Cottenham need more space for their mating dances in the Spring. We kid you not, newts do dance!

Help us to clear plants from the moat to enable this endangered animal to thrive.

Please wear suitable gloves, footwear & clothing and if possible bring a garden fork. Hopefully the moat won’t have much water in it but it will get muddy.

• This is a family-friendly event but please ensure under 18s are accompanied by a responsible adult.

• There is no guarantee of seeing a newt – please come to the April event to see them.
