What’s on at Willingham Social Club
We have wide range of events taking place at Willingham Social Club over the next few months, but the list is constantly being added to, so please see our website or ‘like’ us on Facebook for the up to date details. The Club is a members club: £10 a year for individuals or £15 for a joint/couples membership. You do not have to be a Willingham resident. Most events are open to non-members for a small fee. Tickets can be purchased in advance from the club or online, and possibly on the door subject to demand.
Every Wednesday is Cash Prize Bingo night – Eyes down 7.30pm, in the members bar but everyone over 18 is welcome. Just £6 for 6 games of 6 cards. Optional raffle. We have been amazed with the turn out to Bingo – thank you to everyone who supports us. Each week the cash prizes are based on the number of players and we’ve had many happy people going home with £60 in their pocket, not to mention lots of raffle prizes. There is regularly a huge cake baked by Lynne, the steward, and the ‘rhubarb’ booby prize!
April Events at the Club
Saturday 21st April 8pm The Rockin’ T.J’s are playing in the members bar (members free, £2 for guests). Playing music from the 50’s to present day, a wide range of covers from The Four Tops to Bruce Springsteen.
Friday 27th April 8pm Five Ska – the popular Live Ska band. Covers from The Specials, Madness and many more! £5 in advance from the club or www.wegottickets.com/event/428488.
Monday 30th April 7.30pm Willingham Jam Club. £2 payable at the bar. Everyone welcome, all ages and abilities.
May Events at the Club
Friday 11th May 8pm The Indietones – a high energy band playing Rock versions of The Beatles, The Stones, Queen, The Beastie Boys, Billy Idol etc…They are regularly booked for private events, catering for everyone who loves to ‘shake it’ on the dance floor. We are so excited to have booked them for their debut visit to the Social Club where they will they will be in the Function Room. Saturday 2nd June 8.15pm Mean Eyed Cats – Members music night. Members free, guests £2.

Willingham Beer Festival
UPDATE: The Willingham Beer Festival will be held on Friday 28th and Saturday 29th September at the Social Club. This will be as part of the Willingham Feast celebrations and in association with Willingham Action Group and Elgoods Brewery. With music and food plus more….
